Been to The Dump on a friend’s recommendation and immediately was awestruck by the sheer size of the store. They have almost everything you need for your house. I went ahead and got a living set and bedroom suite. The entire process, starting from selection to billing stage was smooth and hassle-free. Would certainly recommend this to my friends and I would surely come back.

First things first, The Dump is a huge store. I had seen many commercials and as a homeowner wanted to buy few pieces of furniture. Once we reached there and got over the excitement phase, we got down to shopping, but the prices are not justifiable. They have some pieces that are below average price, some which are overpriced, so on an average, the price is the same when compared to other stores. However, one thing in their favor is the extensive collection on offer. If you have time and want to check out every piece, then this is the place.
Staff Does Not Know To Attend Problems

I had gone to the Dump to purchase a blanket. After I reached home, I got a message that my card has been charged $500. Surprised since I was to be charged only $150, I called up the store, and the lady who attended the call very nonchalantly said, “There has been an overcharge. Please check with your bank.” When I contacted the bank, they asked me to get in touch with the store. Not sure when this would be settled, but I am sure I would never go to The Dump again.

Drake was a pleasure to talk with. When we came in, he immediately got a chair for my wife as she was not feeling well, gave us beverages and gave us some time to recover before we start shopping. Once we started shopping for a good mattress, the staff was within sight for any help but did not hover around. When we finished selecting our mattress, Drake came down and checked if it was the correct size and asked us to get the warranty card and check for door delivery. After the mattress was delivered to our house, Drake called up to check if the mattress was a fit for our bed and assured us of his help whenever we had any problem. God Bless Him. Would recommend The Dump just for the courteous staff.
Customer Service Needs Improvement

We purchased a couch from The Dump in March with a warranty which was reasonably priced. In April, the fabric ripped off at the back. We called the store, and initially, they said there was no warranty for that particular product. When I insisted and told them the warranty number, they said, they would call back. Even after five days when we did not receive any call, we directly called up the warranty company which told that the problem could not be fixed and offered us credit for the value of the couch which we could use at The Dump. When we went to use the credit, the staff was just not sure how to attend to the problem, and after waiting for two hours, finally, the issue got addressed. My grouse is that the time we were at the store, nobody asked us what was the problem, and instead acted as if we had made a grave mistake and should seek an apology. However, at the end of the ordeal, the manager came and expressed his sincere apologies and assured it would not happen again.

Friends, if you are going to the Dump for purchasing a rug, go ahead and ask for Sharief. The guy is amiable and a great help. I did not have a general idea of what type of rug I wanted, just that I wanted a rug that matched my living set. Sharief asked for the color of the living set, the tiles and then showed us an excellent rug which was surprisingly very reasonable. Thanks, Sharief.
Excellent Store, Too Much Verification

The store, the décor and the team are great. The sales team showed us various products, and once we selected the couch we wanted, we thought the entire process would be completed quickly. But here comes the twist, the salesperson made us go to his manager who cross-verified the whole process and then sent us to billing section where the whole thing was again re-verified. The whole billing process left a bitter aftertaste. I felt the entire cross-verification process was very amateurish and somewhat redundant and unnecessary. Guys, caution is good but too much caution can make you lose customers.
Except for the billing process, the entire process was smooth, so 3.5 stars for you guys
